Launch a Blog

I have fooled around with doing a blog for a couple of months. I am not totally comfortable with the technical aspects yet. Such as colors, text size and editing. And where do those tags come from? I can't keep putting off getting "out there" - putting off until it is perfect. Now that is what writer Dan Millman would call blocking creative energy.

Writing has been a big part of my life - I sometimes have a hard time finding the right word when I speak. So writing is a comfortable way to communicate. "Do overs" are easy.

The reason I decided to do a blog is to share thoughts and feelings with friends, family and perhaps strangers that may be interested in the topics.

But, the big question - Does the world really need another Blog? What do you think?

  1. I have been blogging for a long time now. A lot of guests say they chose our inn because of it. Welcome to the blog world. My new website was just built around my Wordpress Blog.
You do have a way with words! Your boyfriend, AKA Mr. Adorable, says HI!

  2. Gee, Marge, that's a tough question. Let me ask you a few in return. Isn't a blog sort of a public journal? And can't journals be part of finding oneself? And aren't journals part of the creative process for many folks? If your answers are in the affirmative, then I think the answer to your question is that (if you want to do a blog and are willing to wait for people to follow it) yes, the world needs another blog.

PS. Still haven't finished the iris.

  3. Hmm. hard question to answer. But in general, I think that the blogs can be very useful for those wanting the communication with others as to their thoughts and feelings; and as an avenue of expressing themselves. Others prefer to remain more in the shadows and remain private. Truly a personal choice. the "Cowboy"
